Inspirational Words

I got this email after a night of tossing and turning, wrestling with my mind, attempting to think nothing, or at least nothing that had worry attached to it. It is a great reminder that living in the future, even for a second, robs us of the present moment.

You Reading This, Be Ready Starting here, what do you want to remember?

How sunlight creeps along a shining floor?

What scent of old wood hovers, what softened sound from outside fills the air?

Will you ever bring a better gift for the world than the breathing respect that you carry wherever you go right now?

Are you waiting for time to show you some better thoughts?

When you turn around, starting here, lift this new glimpse that you found; carry into evening all that you want from this day.

This interval you spent reading or hearing this, keep it for life -

What can anyone give you greater than now, starting here, right in this room, when you turn around?

This is a wonderful use of a blog. I have read that when we are very integrated spiritually we don't dream at all. I love dreams and I try to awake early every morning to write about them.

Shelley:

I've never read that.

Though I don't expect my dreams to end as I become more spiritually balanced, I do expect them to change. Since dreams represent the non-physical aspects of our beingness, I see them as vital tools for remembering who we really are and for working though the new experiences of each day we live on earth, in form.

I would expect to keep receiving dreamtime messages as long as I'm in a human body but I do suspect they may become different as I continue along my path of awakening and experiencing human existence.

Hi again

I read this about dreams in Richard Moss's book, "The I that is We". He says,"I have found that when I am in a deep state of balance (by which I mean physically, spiritually, and emotionally in balance), dreams cease entirely. Page 136. He goes onto say "If one of these areas becomes imbalanced, or a new impress of energies begins to activate in my consciousness, the dreams start again." He says dreams are balancing and in this sense might cease temporarily but they do continue throughout life.
